SWagtron does not stand behind there warrenty product. Bought this for Christmas gift and its winter up here in michigan. My son used it for first time last week March 9 2021. Have been driving it for a week and i folded it up and it clips to fender with the built in carry hook. walked with it for ten minutes and fender cracked off. Unit is within 90 days and filled out paperwork on swagtrons website and they responded that they arenot covering it nor do they have the repair part becuse its so new.DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SWAGTRON. Hoping Walmart can contact SWAGTRON and make them make the proper repair or replacement.

this scooter sucks. i walk faster then what the speed is. fastest speed is 3mph and it does not go up hills. Downloaded app and it wont even allow you to connect.
Capacity is 320lb but sill only go 8 MPH on flat ground. The slighted incline you will come to a stop. Easy assembly, good quality frame snd tires but severely under powered motor and poor performance.
I received my Swagtron Swagger 5 Boost electric scooter the other day and I must say I am VERY PLEASED. My scooter‘s top speed is 18.5 mph and it is super. I have mounted extra safety strobe lights on the scooter for night riding in our neighborhood so that other bikes or motor vehicles can see me. I can’t say enough about this scooter. It has 3 speed levels at 5mph, 10mph and 18 mph which is PLENTY fast for a scooter. I use it to pick up our mail at the mail box which is about a half mile from our house. GET one, it is AWESOME. It has plenty of get up and go, so it’s a scooter for older kids and adults. Has a neat headlight and a taillight that flashes for safety. I added an extra red strobe light for the rear fender that is really bright. LOVE MY SCOOTER. By the way, I’m 78 years old and very agile. I work out every day, lifting weights, walking and generally staying fit.
This is a durable, strong electric scooter. BUT. IT ISN’T EASY! NOT FOR AN OUT OF SHAPE ADULT/SENIOR. it’s not the answer for getting to/from your car/handicapped spot to the building. I honestly thought I’d have little or only minor problems w/a scooterI have a pulmonary prob but I can walk, have no fall/balance issues. AVOID this scooter. The rear fender is poorly built and the metal is so thin when my son went up a curb it snapped. Because the tail light wire is attached to the fender it cannot be removed and the scooter is no longer ridable. Swagtron DOES NOT HAVE fenders in stock so my son has a 300 scooter that is useless.
Bought this for my kids, but like the good dad I am I had to test try for safety : ). I’m 5’10, 185lbs and this thing hauls at 18mph. Battery life has been good so far. I charge once a week and I can ride around my neighborhood for 15mins Mon-Fri. We’ll see how long the quality last, but so far so good and happy with my purchase.
Great for a young person or a light weight person. It will struggle to take a heavy person up a hill. But if you are on the flat no problems. Very long run time on the battery. Easy to assemble. Folds down and fits easy in a car trunk. Brakes are on front wheel which can be tricky on a decline. I think they should of put the brakes on back wheel. Over all we are very happy and my daughter loves it.
This is well built, easy to ride and fun. Was easy and quick to connect to Bluetooth. It has 3 setting so you can go slower or faster. Can get up to 20 mph down hill! It supports my husband just fine at 250 lbs.
Love my Swagtron, Swagger 5 Boost scooter, I am a beginner and it is just what I wanted and needed— but it does have some get up go, though!! Having fun in my senior years!
