Quietkat eBikes come in various options, color, frame design, rigid fork or with suspension. But the most important question you need to ask yourself is which motor do I need, Rear Hub or Mid-Drive? By offering both types of motors Quietkat offers an eBike for everyone, at different price points and different capabilities. But what are the key differences between the two?
Rear hub motors sit encased in the rear wheel while the mid-drive motor is positioned in the center of the bike between the pedals. Both perform well and give very good power to the rider. The rear hub costs less to produce so is normally the deciding factor on eBike price. Quietkat uses Bafang motors which are the best motors on the market so whether you choose a Quietkat eBike with a rear hub or mid-drive, you’re buying a great eBike with a quality motor.
The mid-drive motor is known for higher performance and better torque when compared to a rear hub motor allowing it to perform better on hills.

Order Confirmation
As soon as you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. After we receive your order, we will automatically reach out to our vendors to confirm that the product(s) are in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your product by chance is on back order or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and contact to you via e-mail.
Order Shipment
Products usually ship out within 1-3 business days via UPS, Fedex, or Freight Delivery depending on your items size. Due to the larger size of some our products, we do not offer express shipping options. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within three business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at info@eleganthomeusa.com. We ship only in the lower 48 states of the United States and cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. Boxes or military APO/FPO addresses at this time.
Estimated Time of Arrival
Once shipped, orders should arrive within 5-10 business days (does not include processing time or weekends). If the expected delivery date for your order would fall outside of the advertised 5-10 business day time frame, our customer service team will reach out to you to confirm if you are OKAY with that date.

Due to Covid-19 there might be delays up to several additional business days for larger items and non-essentials. This notice supersedes other notices herein.
Back-ordered Items
When you see Est. Restock Date just above the Add to Cart button that means that the item will be restocked in the warehouse on or about that date. Although we make every effort that all items shown on Water Adventure Pro are in stock or show the item as marked as Backordered, occasionally an item may be ordered while being ordered by another shopper. If an item is out of stock you will be contacted as soon as possible. You will have the option of waiting for the backordered item, splitting the shipment and having all the in-stock items sent immediately, choosing a replacement item or cancelling the backordered item all together.
Lost or Damaged Packages
Please inspect and check the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive for delivery. If you notice significant damages (especially signs of forklift damage), refuse delivery and contact us immediately, within 24 hours. If there are some minor damages, make note of this on the delivery slip before signing for delivery.
If you do not note damages on the delivery receipt or contact us within 24 hours after delivery, you are accepting the product condition as is and are not eligible for a return/refund/exchange. We cannot guarantee the manufacturer will cover any replacement parts for you if you do not contact us within 24 hours.
If your package arrives damaged, or if you are missing any items from your order, please call us immediately within 24 hours at (800) 961-6772. For your safety and records it is advisable to send us an email as a follow up to your call. Your email should be sent from the email associated with your Water Adventure Pro online account. We will take care of the problem as soon as possible. Please be sure to save your box and all packing materials in case an inspection or pickup is needed.
If the incorrect product arrives, or if the product you ordered is defective or damaged by the carrier, Elegant Home USA will cover the return shipping costs to ensure you get a replacement.
Freight Shipping
Large or heavy items typically ship within 1 to 3 business days. Freight delivery is typically 5-10 business days (Monday through Friday). Allow extra time for delivery to remote addresses. Free freight shipping is available to most physical addresses in the US. (Sorry, we do not ship to P.O. Boxes.) for curbside delivery
The freight carrier will contact you to schedule delivery. Someone will have to be on hand to meet the driver and sign for the package. The driver will lower the package to the ground and place it curbside at the end of your driveway. Placement of item on driveway, sidewalk or in the home and package material removal or unpacking is not provided but is at the discretion of the driver. Some items may be very large and heavy, so arrange to have additional people help you. Please keep the product packaging. You’ll need it if you have to return your item.
The freight carrier will make attempts to contact you by your phone number on your order to schedule delivery. Please double check the phone number current. If they cannot reach you, or cannot arrange delivery, the item will have to be shipped back to us. If this happens, you will be responsible for return shipping fees and this amount will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Request to hold items prior to shipping is allowed. Once the item is shipped, requesting for delayed shipping is prohibited and will result in item being shipped back to us. You will be responsible for return shipping fees and this amount will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Delivery Notice
Elegant Home USA encourages customers to ALWAYS inspect packages before signing off on a delivery in case of damaged items.
We have a 30-day return policy except for specific brands listed below. If 30 days (or other specified dates) have gone by since your purchase, we unfortunately can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
- For all HOMEY DESIGN items, returns and exchanges are allowed only within seven (7) days from the date of delivery. Damages caused from transit must be noted on delivery documentation BEFORE the freight carrier leaves. YOU MUST inspect all boxes for damages before signing release documents. If damages are observed, refuse delivery and inform us via email right away. If you do not inspect your merchandise at time of arrival, damages observed later will not be eligible for returns or exchanges. Claims for defects or missing parts must be made within thirty (30) days of purchase date.
- For all LEGION FURNITURE items, returns and exchanges are allowed only within seven (7) days from the date of delivery
- For all AVCON Outdoor Shower Enclosures, all sales are final and nonrefundable. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure compliance with all applicable local building codes.
We can cancel your order at absolutely no cost to you before the shipping label or Bill of Lading has been created, or before production of a custom order has started. Custom made items are not eligible for refunds after production has started.
Return Process
To be eligible for a return, you must email us at info@eleganthomeusa.com stating the reason for your return. You must receive a written RMA (return merchandise authorization) from us in order to begin the return and refund process.
Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase and an approved RMA (return merchandise authorization). Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer without contacting us FIRST as there is no way for us to track the return package.
Return Shipping Costs
Customers will be responsible for all return shipping charges for buyer remorse returns. Customers will also be responsible for any re-consignment fees caused by customer error, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable) Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return has been approved, shipped, received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Some items may be subject to a restocking fee up to 25%.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. What frame size should I choose?
QuietKat reserves the right to replace any part on our bikes with a suitable alternative of equal quality due to supply chain constraints sourcing components. Battery range is an estimate and will depend on riding conditions and terrain.
As soon as you place your order, you’ll receive an Order Confirmation email with details about your order.
After we receive your order, we’ll start processing it immediately. We process the majority of our customers’ orders within 3 hours. We want you to receive your item(s) as soon as possible!
After your order is processed, it usually takes between 1-3 working days for it to be shipped. You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with tracking info as soon as your order is dispatched to you.
We Ship With
IMPORTANT: you must be present to sign for your order when it arrives. All of our e-bikes are shipped with Signature Required to make sure they arrive safely. After you receive your tracking information, you can know exactly when your order is going to arrive so you can make proper arrangements.

How Long Would It Take To Receive My Order?
After your order is shipped, it will take between 3-10 working days for you to receive your items depending on your location. Please note we cannot guarantee shipping time. Unanticipated delivery delays by shipping companies (Fedex, UPS etc) are out of our control.
Product not immediately available: We will email/call you with an estimated time of arrival (ETA) and you can decide how to proceed.
How Do I Track My Shipment?

We work with different shipping providers to ensure the fastest shipping times for you. Some of them are: UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS as well as as other premium couriers.

Should I Be Present To Receive My Order?
All of our e-bikes are shipped with Signature Required. This is to ensure your e-bike gets to you safely. You can make arrangements accordingly based on the date on your expected delivery tracking info.
- You will receive an order confirmation email as soon as you place your order. This means that we have authorized your credit card for the purchase and are preparing your order for shipment.
- As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our warehouse to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.
- If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will reach out to you via email.
- If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment, we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.
- If your order is stock and your credit card is approved by our fraud guarantee department, the e-bike ordered will ship within 1-2 business days from the date of your order.
- We will send you the tracking information within 24 hours to the email address you provided when checking out.
- We ship daily via UPS Ground, Fed Ex Ground, and Freight to the lower 48 states. Most all orders will ship the same day as ordered if the order is submitted before 1pm PST (some exceptions apply, some part freight orders may not ship until the following day).
- Some parts orders and freight shipments are subject to ship the following business day if the order is placed close to the 1pm cut off time.
- Shipping costs are included with any unit going ground to the lower 48 states. AK HI ship by AIR at additional cost.
- We do not offer Cash On Delivery.
- A phone number is required by the freight company so a delivery appointment can be made.
- Failure to provide this at the time of order may cause a delay in delivery as freight items will not be delivered without an appointment.
- A delay in delivery may also cause additional storage fees to accrue that will need paid prior to delivery.
- Note to international customers: You are responsible for any and all duties or taxes that may apply. (see details below)
- Customs, Duties, and Taxes: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to customs brokerage fees, import duties, and taxes after the shipment reaches the destination country. Additional charges are the responsibility of the recipient because we have no control over these government-imposed charges and cannot determine what they may be. Customs policies vary greatly among countries. Therefore, we cannot, and will not, offer advice about taxes in your country. We report the amount of the sale on the Customs form. Please do not ask us to claim less than the actual purchase amount. It is the customers responsibility to know the legality of the e-bikes ordered in their country. Do not order items that are illegal to import into your country. Laws are different in every country and we cannot keep up with them all. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office to see if your country permits the shipment of our e-bikes to your country.
- As the buyer, it is your responsibility to find out that information before you order. Please contact your local customs office for information.
- To avoid a delay in receiving your order from customs, consider the following:
- Provide us with a phone number where you can be reached by customs when your e-bikes arrives. This phone number will be listed on the commercial invoice so customs can reach you to clear your order.
- Please do not refuse a shipment or ignore requests from carriers regarding duty and/or tax liability charges. Be aware that most carriers will hold a shipment for 5 days after arrival in your country before they return it to the sender.
- We do not refund original shipping charges for goods that are refused for delivery at customs.
- We will deduct all additional fees resulting from refused international shipments from your refund.
- If we are charged for YOUR taxes and duties on the shipment or incur any penalty or lawsuit related to your order or shipment, we will post the charge to your credit card.
- If the package is seized by Customs for any reason and we do not receive the package back, we will NOT issue you a refund since, obviously, local laws and regulations determine the fate of the package. If we do receive the package back after being seized, you are still responsible for the shipping charges and any other fees plus penalties incurred.
- We ship via UPS and Fedex for most e-bikes, USPS for small parts and accessories, and freight for big e-bikes.
- If you don’t receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order confirmation, feel free to follow up with us at support@strykerebikes.com
- Please inspect the packaging of your items when they arrive.
- If there are any e-bikes damaged upon arrival, you can file a warranty claim to get replacement parts for anything that’s damaged.
- If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to support@strykerebikes.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.
Cancellations Refunds:
- All orders canceled are subject to an administration fee equal to 15% of the total order amount, whether or not your order has shipped. This is a fee that covers administrative and personnel fees.
- If your item is on backorder and you accept the backorder, we will hold your payment until the e-bikes ships. If you decide to cancel before a backorder arrives and is processed for shipping, we will not charge a fee.
- If you order has shipped, you (the buyer) will be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.
PRE ORDERS CAN BE REFUNDED ANYTIME BEFORE SHIPMENT
Preorder refers to an item that is out of stock, but will be coming back in stock at a later date. Electric Bike PROS offers you the option to purchase an item that is listed on the website as a Preordered item that will ship once it is back in stock.
Expected Shipping Date
We estimate to our best ability on when we know our preorder items will ship. We list the target date or time frame on the product page. Please keep in mind that there are things outside of our control. This means that delays may occur. Should there be any delays to the product’s availability date, you will be notified via email.

Returns on Preorders
Due to the nature of preorders, we understand that the delivery of your purchase will be delayed. All items that are purchased as a preorder, are subject to the brands return window from the day the item is received. We require is that the bicycle is in new condition, meaning free from any scratches or damages. To review all other details for returns, please view the Returns and Warranty tab.
- From time to time, an e-bike may run out of stock at our warehouse and the website wasn’t updated when you placed your order. In that case, we will send you an email right after you place your order notifying you of the backorder, what the expected time for arrival is, and what substitutes are available in case you are interested in getting an e-bike sooner.
- The expected arrival time may change due to unforeseen circumstances like a shipment getting held up at the port upon arrival or the factory missing a certain part needed to complete the manufacturing process.
- If the arrival time changes on your order, you can let us know whether you would like to keep the order, substitute for a different e-bike, or cancel the order altogether.
- Once back orders arrive, we will notify you by email with your estimated ship date and you will receive an email with tracking information within 1-3 business days.
This section will give you the essential information about what to expect with the delivery of your item. If you purchased one of our large and heavy items your item will ship freight LTL will be delivered via a lift gate truck.
Important Freight LTL Shipment
When the item reaches your city or a city near yours the dispatcher will call you to set up a future delivery date and time with you. The item will not be delivered until you set up this appointment.
You need to be at the delivery address during the delivery window to receive and sign for the item.
The dispatcher will let you know what dates they have available. Delivery appointments can only be scheduled Monday thru Friday. The delivery times can only be scheduled in delivery Windows of 8 am. 12 pm or 12 pm. 4 pm. Depending on the freight company the delivery window may differ. A fixed delivery time cannot be scheduled. Example 9:00 am. It can only be scheduled in a delivery window time frame.
Please make sure the phone number you entered at checkout is a good number to contact you at.
Don’t screen your calls until your item has been delivered.
6.The item will be delivered via a lift gate truck with one delivery person. It will be placed at your door or the closet area near your door. Due to the large size, it may not be possible to be placed at your door.
7.Be sure to keep all your packing materials including the pallet. If you decide to return the item you will need to have all the original packing materials.
How to Handle Damages, Exceptions or Discrepancies at time of e-Bike Delivery (Carton packaging appears to have some damage such as ripped, holes, large dents, open carton, or items are missing):
- Carton damage requires visual inspection of contents of the unit.
- Electric Bike Pros recommends IMMEDIATE inspection, with driver present, to verify damage. If contents are damaged, indicate damage on carrier’s paperwork and notify Electric Bike Pros immediately.
- IMPORTANT: If contents cannot be inspected immediately, notation on carrier’s paperwork must state: “Carton damage, subject to inspection” and list type of damage.
- Contents must be inspected within 48 hours of arrival and actual damage reported to the carrier

QuietKat Rubicon Review: E- Bike Overview
Like its namesake 4-wheel drive world, the QuietKat Jeep Rubicon e-bike is designed to dominate the wilderness in which it roams. Equipped with a 1000-watt Bafang mid-drive motor, 26” x 4.8” all-terrain tubeless tires, optimized Firelink suspension, and a long range 21 amp-hour battery, this bike is built for battle.
The mid-drive motor works with your pedaling, rather than independently, like hub motors. The advantage for the mid-drive is it generates more torque, which is what you need in rough terrain and when towing. Intelligently delivering the 160 Newton-meter torque to the wheels, the torque sensor works in conjunction with the 20-amp controller to assure energy conservation, while avoiding over-taxing the motor.
Your gear shifting skill with the SRAM X5 9-speed gearing will also greatly affect the quality of your ride. You will want to approach this the way you would approach driving a car with a stick shift, rather than an automatic. If you don’t shift into the right gear before climbing a hill, your motor will bog. This is more of an issue with mid-drives than with hub motors.
Following its brothers and sisters in the Jeep family, the QuietKat Rubicon will get you over the toughest terrain as well as, or better than any other electric bikes like it. In the following sections I’ll go over the Rubicon’s performance results in the barrage of tests we put this e-bike through. Not only do these tests reveal the Rubicon’s abilities, but also its value to you, the rider. Afterall, if you’re considering spending more than 7000 on an e-bike, you will want to really know what you’re getting. One thing’s for certain, you’re getting a lot of e-bike for your money with the QuietKat Rubicon.

QuietKat Rubicon Review: Circuit Speed Test
The primary item we look at when doing the circuit test is how well the motor engages with the pedaling when changing PAS levels. Some e-bikes accelerate abruptly, almost rocketing out from underneath you, while others transition at levels that are practically unnoticed.
On the first lap, I really noticed the 75 lbs weight of the Rubicon and the fat 26” x 4.8” tires – pedaling was difficult without the PAS assistance. I quickly discovered that this is not an e-bike that I would want to be stuck pedaling with a dead battery. But that is the price you pay when getting a monster bike like this, that can roll over tricky terrain like it’s a lightweight motorcycle.
Unique on the QuietKat Rubicon are the two modes for the PAS system: the Eco mode for when your riding FOCUS is maintaining your battery supply for a long range ride, and the Sport mode for when you want greater globs of power spinning your rear wheel.
As you can see on the chart above, there is about a 2 – 3 mph difference at each PAS level between the two modes. That may not seem like much but it really adds up with the available juice that’s left in your battery. When it comes to energy conservation on your e-bike, it’s like the old saying goes, “a little can go a long way.”
When riding on smooth, flat dirt trails I maxed the throttle and braced for a sudden burst of acceleration. Instead, the motor dished out the speed at a more steady pace. It appears this e-bike was designed to provide power for hill climbing and hauling, not for racing.
With the right combo of pedaling and PAS use, you can ride the Rubicon up to 40 miles on a single charge. Add the optional second battery, and you can double your range.
Button access to set your PAS level is a cinch, as well as throttling with the left-thumb switch.
The color LCD clearly displays your range, mode, distance and speed, and time.
QuietKat Rubicon Review: Range Test Battery Performance
A common question most people ask when looking at an e-bike is, “How many miles will this bike take me on one battery charge?” So, we do a range test to answer that. Normally we do two parts, a test for the highest level PAS – for maximum reliance on the motor; and we do a test on the lowest PAS level – for longest distance with minimum continual reliance on the motor. We did four tests instead for the Rubicon because PAS 1 – is in two separate operation modes – Eco and Sport. The Eco mode is meant to minimize battery consumption. This is helpful if you’re planning to ride a long distance. It is also the mode you’ll want to use when your battery level is dropping and you need to make sure you have enough power to reach your destination. The Sport mode is for when you want full power, in any of the PAS levels, and you are not as concerned about using up battery power.
First we’ll review the Eco mode results. Our test rider for the Eco PAS 1, Brenden, rode 46.1 miles, in a time of 2:52, average speed of 16.09 mph, before the battery quit. This fell far short of the 62-mile range the manufacturer claims. Why the big difference? Frankly, we don’t know. Brenden rides a lot of our tests and he is very consistent. So we know our rider is not the reason.
Our test results for the high PAS test in Eco mode came close to QuietKat’s claim. TJ rode in Eco PAS 5 for 31.14 miles, time of 1:37, average speed of 19.3 mph. This was very close to QuietKat’s 32 mile range claim.
Next up are the Sport mode results. In Sport, PAS 1, rider TJ went 44.8 miles, total time of 2:28, average speed 18.10 mph before the battery died on him. I had the opportunity to do the test ride for the Sport PAS 5 test. Unlike most other test rides, which are performed on bike paths, I did this test on actual desert terrain, identical to actual usage. The trails I rode on are considered intermediate in difficulty and featured a mix of hard pack, rocks, soft sand, and hills. Total distance in Sport PAS-5 mode was 13.36 miles, in 1:21 and average speed of 9.96 mph.
QuietKat didn’t give us a range claim for Sport mode. I was a little disappointed with the distance – I was expecting to go at least 20 miles. But the ride was really fun! The suspension was great at absorbing the bumps and rocks I rode over. The 26” x 4.8” monster tires provided great handling all throughout. I felt like I had more control riding the Rubicon on these trails than I have when I ride my 250cc dirt bike on these same trails. Ofcourse, I’m not riding as fast on the e-bike (average speed 10 mph vs 30 mph on the motorcycle), and the Rubicon weighs less than one-third the weight of an average dirt motorcycle – another e-bike advantage over motorcycles.
If you are planning to ride more than 45 miles, you should consider purchasing a backup battery from QuietKat (currently priced at 999 plus tax). For long rides where you’ll have access to car or truck, a 12-volt DC charger is a good idea (currently 122 plus tax). If you’re camping and have no access to electricity for charging, you can purchase a portable e-bike solar charging station from QuietKat (current price 769 plus tax). Either way, the folks at QuietKat understand what your likely e-bike outdoor adventure might entail, so it’s worth looking at their accessories page before you make the final purchase.
Our overall takeaway from the QuietKat Rubicon’s range test is Eco mode is the way to go if you want to ride 40 miles before recharging. You’ll get enough “oomph” from the motor to get where you need to, just not a lot of power. But if you’re out for fun, and not worried about draining the battery, then the Sport mode will give you an awesome ride!
QuietKat Rubicon Review: Hill Test
The hill climb test was where we expected to see the Rubicon shine – and shine it did. On the throttle test, where our test rider, Justin, only uses the throttle without pedaling, the Rubicon made it to the top in 92 seconds, at an average speed of 14.3 mph. That’s a pretty good result considering it has a mid-drive motor, and mid-drives rely heavily on pedaling. Some mid-drives don’t even make it to the top.
In the PAS 5 test, which includes basic pedaling by the rider, this bike did better, as expected. Justin reached the top in 63 seconds. Now here’s the interesting part, the average speed was also 14.3 mph. It’s unheard of for a bike to have the same average speed in both parts of the hill climb test. But take into account that the mid-drive motor is designed to generate lots of torque, not top speed, and it’s designed to use battery conservatively. So this would indicate that they controller identified 14.3 mph as an optimum speed going up this hill, in terms of rider pedaling and battery consumption. This also shows the intelligent power management between the torque converter and controller. So, it seems sharing the same average speed in both tests is a fair trade off in order to have this e-bike use its battery power judiciously.
Earlier I mentioned the importance of proper shifting. Well, I didn’t heed my own advice. A few times I started climbing hills in too high of a gear. In Eco mode,that meant stopping, riding back down, and trying again in the right gear. But in Sport mode, the motor is much more forgiving. It got me up the hill, albeit slower, whereupon I said “thank you” to the Rubicon after I reached the top.
Regardless of the mode you’re in, when tackling up a hill on the QuietKat Rubicon (as well as any e-bike with a mid-drive motor), you better be pedaling! Like I’ve said before, mid-drive motors are designed to work in conjunction with your pedaling, unlike hub motors which work independently. Look at it this way, you are a partner to your mid-drive motor – the more you help it, the more it will help you.
