reviews for E300S Electric Scooter Seated
Bought this for my 13 year old brother in law as a birthday gift and he loved it he rode all around the park. The best part of this is it come with seat. The seat is pretty comfortable and I also do like the big rubber tires it helps with stability and helps with a smoother ride. Other than that this is a good value scooter build and quality is very impressive and the ride on this baby is very comfortable and fun for everyone!! plus this makes as a great gift that im sure any kid will LOVE!!
I received this product as a Christmas present, and although I let it charge for more than 24 hours, it only lasted about 5 minutes. This electric scooter was sloppily assembled, very slow, and came with a defective battery. In the opinion of a 13 year old, this product was overall disappointing. I am now ordering a 70 dollar battery replacement, and praying that it is not the nature of the product
The battery worked fine for a bit more than 2 month, and a only 2 month warranty so now i have nothing to do. Wasted my money please dont waste yours. Aftere two month the scooter does not get as half of the speed as before and the battery last less than 15 minutes.
We bought 2 of these 3 years ago and have been very happy with how they have performed and held up. The batteries continue to work as expected. The only improvement we’d like is the ability to swap out seat for a more traditional bicycle seat. Other than that, we are very please with our purchase. (BTW, these are used by 2, 45 year olds and a 9 year old.

Why Buy an Electric Scooter With Seat
Electric Scooters With Seats
If you have any kind of back issue, leg ache, or some other hindrance. or maybe your commute to work is long, or you just prefer to sit while riding, you don’t have to rule this way of transport out. Below we have listed our top ten choices for best seated electric scooters as of today.
WideWheel Pro 2020
Electric Scooters With Seats
Motor: 2x500w motors | Tires: 8 x 3.9 never-flat foam filled | Dimensions: 43.1 x 21.6 x 43.3 inches |
Battery: Lithium-ion 48V 15Ah | Suspension: Front and Rear springs | Folded Dim: 43.1 x 8.6 x 16.1 inches |
Range: 22 Miles | Brakes: Front Rear Discs | Weight: 54 lbs |
Top Speed: 26 Mph | Lights: Front Rear LED | Drive: Front Rear Wheel |
Weight Limit: 220 lbs | Display: Smart Display | Battery Position: Under Board |
A beast of an electric scooter is the best description for this adult scooter. It is still the coolest looking of them all I think, with its uniquely wide tires and overall design. And it just got better with this updated Pro version. And upgraded lithium battery provides this e-scooter with dual 500 Watt powerful motors, one for each wheel.
Acceleration and torque is brilliant and it climbs hills up to 30% with ease. Maximum speed of 26 mph ( 42 kph), range of 22 miles ( 35 km), front and rear suspension system, front and rear disc brakes, foldable, a new display that shows speed, mileage, battery life etc. And it also comes with cruise control, front led lights, kickstand, well. pretty much what you need it covers with panache.
And now. you can add a seat which is of a foldable design. One might think that if you screw the optional seat in place, it would compromise portability and in so, also your daily commute. But no, with a clever design by way of a quick release. you can tilt the seat forward and then fold the stem over the seat. Which means it is still a foldable electric scooter. Seat is screwed in place by four screws onto the board, and this e-scooter, still manages to look cool with the seat on.
CONS
Nice stable and fast scooter! Widewheel pro scooter is just blazingly fast and fun to drive. The widened tires gives me confidence because its more stable compared to others. The dual motors are so powerful going up hills and braking with the front and rear disc brakes are very strong. Comes with a bell too! This is my first scooter by the way and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for performance. Definitely an A in my book!
Inokim Light 2
Electric Scooters With Seats
Motor: 350W base / 650W peak | Tires: 8.5 x 2 air tires | Dimensions: 42.5 x 41.3 x 18.1 inches |
Battery: LG Li-ion 36V 10.4Ah | Suspension: Pneumatic tires | Folded Dim: 37.4 x 14.2 x 9.8 inches |
Range: 20 Miles | Brakes: Front rear drum brake | Weight: 30 lbs |
Top Speed: 21 Mph | Lights: Front Rear LED | Drive: Rear Wheel Drive |
Weight Limit: 220 lbs | Display: Adv. thumb throttle display | Battery Position: Under Board |
As far as top-notch design and high-quality build goes, Inokim delivers. These are fantastic e-scooters. Super portable, cool looks, and one of the longest range from such a portable scooter. 16 miles (25 km) in real world riding is very good.
It has a 350 watts continous brushless hub motor with a top speed of 21 mph (34 kph). It is a kick start scooter so acceleration up to 15 mph (24 kph) is not world record material, but that is missing the point with the Light 2. This is more about a refined smooth ride that won’t jerk and leap forward like a dog chasing after a cat.
Ride quality is surprisingly good even though it lacks suspension, but it does have two pneumatic tires to soften the blows. The deck has a very low ground clearance which helps with stability but doesn’t offer much space before you bottom out. Curb hopping is not recommended. But. it really improves handling and control of the scooter. The larger the deck, the better.
Deck dimensions are 18.5 inches by 7 inches (46.5 cm by 17.8 cm ). And it comes with the option of a quick release seat. A base section grabs around the edges of the deck that also provides the setup for the quick release and seat post. Clever.

Battery: Lithium Ion 52 V, 26Ah | Suspension: Front and Rear Spring Arms | Folded Dim: 45 x 9.4 x 12.5 inches |
Range: 35 Miles | Brakes: Disc Brake Regenerative | Weight: 66 lbs |
Top Speed: 40 Mph | Lights: Front and rear tail lights | Drive: Front Rear Wheel |
Weight Limit: 330 lbs | Display: Led Light Status | Battery Position: Under Board |
Nanrobot is a great name for an electric scooter since some of their products do look slightly like robots and seems to have the power of robots as well. This is not a toy, it is a proper adult scooter and not for the faint hearted. Dual 1000 Watt motors will propel you to a top speed of 40 mph ( 64 kph). Long range of 49 miles (80 km) so maybe a good thing that a seat is now optional.
A smooth ride is ensured through its double suspension system, and big pneumatic tires. The front suspension is known to bottom out on occasion and dip quite substantially under heavy breaking, so maybe slightly on the soft side even though there are four shock absorbers at the front wheel. Front and rear disc brakes are a good choice of braking system to halt your progress. Overall quality is ok, but a bit rough around the edges. Thick substantial metal parts we put on our plus list, but some elements of the design and finishing touches are not top notch. And maybe that’s why its priced lower than similar competitors. But if a bit of DIY doesn’t scare you, then you will be ok and can definitely put this one on your short list.
And now it comes with the option of a detachable seat. It is a shock absorption seat to further provide a comfortable ride and it is foldable. This is quite a big electric scooter, it’s max weight capacity is 330 lbs ( 150kg). So if you are not in that league or your arms are not very long, you might feel reaching the handlebar is a bit of a stretch. It retails at approximately 1300 USD.

Inokim Quick 3
Electric Scooters With Seats
Motor: 450W Brushless gear motor | Tires: 10x pneumatic air tires | Dimensions: |
Battery: LG Lithium Ion, 48V, 13 A/h | Suspension: Front and Rear Spring Arms | Folded Dim: |
Range: 28 Miles | Brakes: Front V-brakes I Rear Disc brakes | Weight: 36.4 lbs |
Top Speed: 19 Mph | Lights: Front and rear tail lights | Drive: Rear Wheel |
Weight Limit: 260 lbs | Display: Front Rear built-in lights | Battery Position: Under Board |
The Quick 3 offers even more of the same quality, performance and design that the Light 2 does. 450 Watts brushless gear motor with a similar top speed of 19 mph (30 kph) and an even longer range of approximately 25 miles (40 km).
Max weight has gone up to 260 lbs (120 kg) compared to the Light 2:s 220 lbs (100kg). Which makes this one of the few options of portable and foldable scooters on the market for those who weigh more than 220 lbs. Still no suspension but air-filled wide anti slippery tires.

This is a slightly bigger e-scooter than it’s smaller sibling and offers the same ride quality if not better. Also a kick start scooter means no zero start but, it accelerates slightly quicker up to top speed than the Light 2 once you’ve hit 3 mph (4.8 kph) and for hills, it will be a bit stronger as well. And you have the big deck which also has the same seat option as the Light 2 does.

Weight Limit: 220 lbs | Display: No | Battery Position: Under Board |
I hesitantly put this e-scooter on a best electric scooter with seat list for the purpose of it more falling in the category of toys rather than proper adult scooters. But. it is a seated electric scooter so let’s give it the benefit of the doubt. To be fair, since it is targeted towards a teenage customer base, quite few potential buyers might browse through amazon to find something for their kids upcoming birthdays. And, mom or dad can still go for a spin on it as well. As far as electric scooters goes, the design is kept simple but sturdy.
Lack of suspension system will make for less of a smooth ride if it gets a bit bumpy but it has chunky 9 inch pneumatic tires to help out if you venture a bit off-road. Battery is of a smaller sealed lead acid version which is one reason why I consider it to fall under toy section. But it will give you a top speed of 15 mph (24 kph). Is it long-range I hear you ask? No. On Razors own website a range is not given but rather 40 minutes of continuous use on full charge.
The seat is not foldable and doesn’t have any extra shock absorption. Again, this electric scooter too me seems more like something a younger person will learn to ride and use around the neighbourhood so portability is not the primary object with this kick scooter. maybe it’s fair to say that for teenagers, this could be the best seated electric scooter. It retails at around just below 300 USD and for that asking price it is quite good value for money in our book, all things considering.

Range: 12 miles | Brakes: Front Rear Disc Brakes | Weight: 117 lbs |
Top Speed: 20 Mph | Lights: Front Rear Tail lights | Drive: Rear wheel drive |
Weight Limit: 117 lbs | Display: No | Battery Position: Under Board |
On the other end of the spectrum of the Razor e300s, and something I personally would not get as a first e-scooter for my kids ( because I love them and don’t want them to get hurt) we have the Mad Max looking Uberscoot 1600W. It looks like it can handle itself with its terminator looking cam-link front suspension, 11-inch knobby pneumatic tires that will handle off-road easily and adjustable rear shock absorption system to name but a few features. We really do like the twist grip acceleration control.
Brake system by way of front and rear disc brakes, perfect. Top speed is 20 mph (32 kph) and 12 miles range ( 19 km ) in eco mode. It is also a lead-acid battery although much more powerful than the razor e300s and it is reflected in the overall performance. Beware though that, the choice of a lead acid battery from the manufacturer is to keep the price of the electric scooter down since they are much cheaper than lithium batteries. But, they need more maintenance and have a shorter lifespan and thus, will need replacing after x amount of charging cycles. In this case approximately 250 according to the manufacturer.
The seat is of a quick-release version and lacks a folding design but is height adjustable. There is a hole in the board, stick seat in, lock it in place and off you go. This one retails at around 700 USD.

If you want to fly down the street with your hair on fire whilst listening to Super Electric by Bomfunk MC (Really cool song, check it out) then this 5400 Watts (yes you read that right. 5400!!) dual motors monster is probably on your shortlist or should be. High torque motor indeed. The optional seat will come in handy because you might want to sit down for the top speed number. up to 52 mph ( 85 kph). Don’t even think about commute on this without all the safety measures known to mankind you can get your hands on.
Double hydraulic disc brakes thank you very much. Long-range. well yes with its claimed 43 miles ( 70 km) and so a detachable seat might come in handy to provide a smooth ride. This is what I consider a heavy weight electric scooter. It clocks in at 81 lbs (37 kg) and you can be a weight lifter at 330 lbs ( 150 kg) and still get to the gym without it breaking in half. 11 inch knobby pneumatic tires is the right choice.
It is a bit of a faff to get the seat mounted, as you will need to remove the top layer of the board in order to get the bottom bracket/base in place that will be the mounting point for the seat. Once in place though, everything is proper and feels tight and secure. It is not foldable but with a quick release option to lift the whole thing off when you don’t need it. We do love the office chair style height adjustable seat. Pull a lever and the seat comes down. Raise your buttocks, pull the lever and up it goes. Smart. But that’s what you get when you are in the 3 350 USD price range of adult scooters.

The Whidewheel is one of our top favorites as far as best electric scooter discussions go. once the whole package is considered. Performance, price, design. The Whidewheel Pro as covered above is the development of the entry level Whidewheel and is improved in some areas although they look almost identical. If you don’t want to splash out the extra 300 USD the Pro will cost you, you can opt for the 2019 version which is still phenomenal. You will have to make do with one rear disc brake, simpler display, but can still choose between single or dual motors of 500 Watts. Max speed will vary depending on if you choose one or two motors, 20/25 mph ( 32/40 kph) and range 15/20 miles ( 24/32 km).
The seat is the same as on the Pro version. Easy to put in place with four allen screws and a quick release to fold it forward. So it still falls under the folding electric scooter tag even with the seat permanently in place.

This one sticks out as it doesn’t look like an electric scooter at all. It looks more like an e-bike mainly because. well it is a bike frame in essence without pedals. And for some reason, it makes me think this one is what Mr Bean would ride were he to choose an electric scooter. But as far as riding experience on a seated electric scooter goes, it is quite interesting. No shock absorption what so ever but, a very well padded seat and with spoked 16” (406 mm) pneumatic tires it still offers quite a smooth ride on paved roads.
Twist grip speed throttle is a plus as well as the wide bamboo deck. Hand operated rear brake works fine. Razor does not give an estimated mile range but rather an estimated amount of minutes you can use it on a single charge, 40 minutes. Max speed is 18 mph ( 29 kph).
The seat as mentioned is comfortable and well padded. This is not a folding electric scooter in any way shape or form though. Think bike with an electric motor. So once you’ve assembled the seat, it stays put. The choice to go with a sealed lead acid battery instead of a lithium ion battery keeps the price down but, will require more maintenance and battery life is not as long. It even has a luggage rack and basket for storage. So definitely an adult electric scooter to consider for your commute if you don’t need it to be of a foldable design.

If you want to go in a totally different direction, you are not a huge fan of the kick scooter concept, and you really love Italy. you might want to check out the Vespa looking Razor Mod. This one looks like the ones Italian kids buzz around on at too high speeds in between cars on the streets of Rome or Milan. But. you will be left for dead at the stoplights as this is not a rocket.
Top speed is a mere 15 mph ( 24 kph) and again, range. yes you guessed it. 40 minutes on a full charge, so how far can you go if you feather the twist grip throttle for 40 minutes? But hey, how cool won’t you (or actually your teenager who more likely is the target customer) look when parking it on its retractable kickstand. Rider weight is limited to 170 lbs ( 77 kg). But hey. it has the biggest seat on this list.

Xiaomi m365 is apparently the world’s most sold scooter. Understandably so considering what it offers at its asking price of just below 400 USD. Ligthweight, Lithium battery 250 watt front wheel hub motor, airfilled tires, foldable, and a smartphone app that you can adjust different settings with and that gives you data on battery life and more. Max speed 15 mph ( 24 kph) and a range of 24 miles ( 38 km). It is perfect for inner city commutes as long as the ride is done on very smooth surfaces. Lack of suspension system means you will feel all small bumps and even cracks where concrete meets concrete.
Of course Xiaomi wants to offer a retractable seat even for such a smaller type e-scooter as this one. The chosen solution for this is slightly different than what we are used to by now. A bracket, which you clamp on to the board and that hugs the sides of the board is the base for which you then stick your seat stem into and fasten. In all honesty though, this doesn’t feel like a scooter suited for a seat. The seat has a spring to provide shock absorption but, even for an average normal-sized person, it compresses all the way down, so you will feel anything that is not smooth as a pooltable right through your buttocks. Riding position is also not very comfortable. Once in place it is not foldable, but you can get the seat with stem out with a quick release. I personally don’t know why anyone would need a seat for this e-scooter.

The Hiboy is similar to the Xiaomi m365 in size and type of electric scooter. 350 watts brushless hub motor, top speed 18,6 mph ( 30 kph), range 17 miles (27 km), foldable, lightweight, solid tires though, bluetooth, controlled via app and so on. Price is also below 400 USD. Another electric scooter primarily designed for inner city commutes.
It offers something that the Xiaomi does not as far as an optional seat goes. Here, you will lift up the board mat, find a hole where you place the base structure in, fasten it, to then put the seat stem into. Once in place, the seat with stem can be tilted forward. Riding experience is similar to that of the Xiaomi. But if you must have a seat on such a scooter, maybe the best choice between the two would be the Hiboy since you can still fold the whole scooter and carry it with you quicker and easier than with the Xiaomi.
What to consider when buying an electric scooter with seat
Electric Scooters With Seats
One of the main things is probably if you need the seat to be able to be easily detachable and foldable. The more you fold and remove things the bigger the wear and tear and risk of metal fatigue, as well as play and wobble in the seat stem and other mechanical parts.
So if this is a priority for you, opt-out from the cheaper versions of foldable e-scooters. The suspension system will also play a big part. Lack of any shock absorption will be felt through your body. If you only travel on well paved smooth surfaces it is probably not a big issue. But any type of need to go off road, or bumpier roads, you should consider choosing one with a good suspension system. Overall weight capacity is also an important factor. If you you qualify as a pro wrestler or for the NBA, you will need an e-scooter that can handle the punishment. The more you pay, the better the quality. This golden rule applies to the adult scooter world as well as anywhere else. generally speaking.
Size of scooter is also to be considered as depending on your size, you don’t want to sit in a cramped position or if you are a smaller shorter person, having to reach to get to the handlebar.
Overall rating:
The Windgoo B9 is an electric scooter with a seat that is designed for those who want to commute with a little more comfort, stability, and practicality that they might not find with your standard electric scooter. Ok, we get that the B9 looks a little different and might not immediately be the most attractive e-ride out there – but bear with us. What this scooter lacks in aesthetic appeal, it makes up for with accessibility, practicality and ultimately sheer enjoyment of riding. What the Windgoo B9 does, and does well, is provide an electric transport solution for anyone and everyone, regardless of your riding confidence, mobility concerns and budget. This really is an e-ride that anyone reading this could enjoy. For £419, the B9 sits as the benchmark electric scooter, and has set the bar high for the competition. Sits and bench in one sentence are you really going to let me get away with that?

Expert verdict:
The Windgoo B9 is an electric scooter you really won’t forget riding, and I thoroughly enjoyed getting out and riding what is quite a unique product.
Electric scooters with seats are growing in popularity – in fact I wouldn’t be surprised to see a whole load of these taking people across town in the very near future. The B9 is safer, more comfortable and easier to ride than your average electric scooter.
There’s no fussy apps, keys, or unlock codes, you take to the saddle, place your feet on the footplate and whisk away on your wild Windgoo adventures. Yeehaw.
Let’s address the elephant in the room, it’s not the best looking electric scooter out there. Is that because of the seat? Maybe. Overall the B9 isn’t the most pleasing on the eye, but to those who want to ride this every day aren’t buying an e-ride for identity or style reasons – I’m sure some of you out there could make this look very cool. Send us your stylish Instagram posts with the B9 if you get your hands on one.
Ultimately this scooter is not designed for the fast and furious, its fundamental purpose is to make electric mobility accessible for as many people as possible.
Overall the B9 achieved four stars from our Ride and Review process – where it lost marks with a slightly reduced build quality and componentry in comparison to other mass produced electric scooters, the B9 won us over with its comfort, practicality, and individuality.

In detail:
Performance
The Windgoo B9 is an absolute joy to ride, you cannot ride this electric scooter without arriving at your destination with a smile on your face. I found it’s performance was fun, predictable, and extremely useful for its form and function.
The 350W brushless motor is controlled via a twist-throttle on the right side, allowing you to easily modulate the how much power you’re putting down. I found the power delivery to be smooth and predictable. There were no nasty surprises when riding around which I believe enhances the accessibility of this product for a variety of riders.
With a top speed of 15.5 mph (25km/h) the B9 will whisk you around town with ease; it’s somewhat of a Goldilocks top speed, any faster and I think it would detract from the comfort of the ride, any slower and I think you’d maybe look at buying a mobility scooter.
The B9 offers up to 12.5 miles (20km) in range which should more than suffice for daily trips – I think it’d be very easy to use this every day and only charge it once or twice a week. For those looking for a solution to getting around their area, that should be plenty considering the chances are you’ll never actually riding it on full throttle for extended periods of time. I wouldn’t be surprised if, in reality, you might find yourself getting a few extra kilometers out of the B9.
I was debating including performance in this review, because ultimately the B9 isn’t about how quickly it gets off the line or whether or not it has market-topping range, it’s about giving everyone an opportunity to enjoy an e-ride – but good news, I really liked the way the B9 performed.
Comfort and Handling
The Windgoo B9 is exceptionally comfortable to ride, and I really believe it would leave a lot of people surprised about just how easy the riding experience is.
I found the seat posting very natural, and I liked the way you can firmly plant both feet on the deck in front of you and feel ‘locked in’ to the scooter. Once I got the hang of pushing off and twisting the throttle (easy after a couple of attempts), I noticed just how comfortable a ride it is in those initial meters.
The deck was super wide and grippy, and it really helps add to that sense of stability of riding. You might initially have concerns about being wobbly, but being able to firmly plant your feet in front of you really helps.
I really didn’t feel like I was riding an electric scooter with a seat – it feels more like a baby moped.
The large rubber pneumatic tyres do a great job of increasing the comfort of the ride, smoothing out imperfections with ease. In the absence of any suspension, I found the tyres filled that gap by diminishing the lumps and bumps in the road – it wasn’t perfect, but it really enhanced the riding experience.
I really believe the B9 was be a very safe scooter to ride every day. I found I was sat upright, giving me great visibility of what’s around, and crucially with a nice Lumos helmet on I think others would be able to see me riding very clearly.
Also, in case you ever did have an accident or find yourself in a sticky situation, it’s super easy to put a foot down next to you or simply just step off the B9 completely. That aspect was what myself and the Electroheads team helped bump it up to four stars overall – it might seem a bit radical or a bit whacky, but really there’s a brilliant, practical and safe e-ride underneath that green paint.
Brakes
The B9 features front a rear mechanical disc brakes, which do a great job of slowing you down whilst riding. I actually found that rolling off the throttle was enough to slow you down enough to take turns and monitor your surroundings more comfortably, but having disc brakes gave me plenty of confidence in the stopping ability of the B9.
Overall the brakes were pretty standard for the Windgoo range. I’ve ridden a number of the bikes and scooters from the company and the B9 has the same components as those other models. Whilst it’s not the most premium set up out there, I didn’t find any alarm issues or problems that arose during my time riding the B9; but with all e-rides I would advise keeping on top of general maintenance like you would with your bog-standard bike, and if you notice anything suspect whilst riding, ride carefully and take it to a shop for assistance as soon as you can. Or the simplicity might actually allow the more technically-savvy to have a go at fixing it yourself without major issues.
Extras
As mentioned in the brakes section, the Windgoo B9 features almost identical components to other small e-ride models from the company – and look, it’s very functional.
A simple on off switch, mechanical bell and a straightforward display keeps things easy to use on the handlebars. It’s not cluttered, which I do really like, there’s no fuss and it’s very much straight to the point.
The display shows up to four bars of remaining range, I thought it was frustrating to not see a remaining range available in numerical form, but in reality I think that for its purpose and for those in the market for the B9, you’ll only be undertaking short regular trips, not the range draining long rides.
I found the Windgoo B9 was easy to lift and carry up stairs. Whilst it weighs in at 24kg, I found it fairly easy to lift from the saddle and move around – however this weight may be a concern for those with limited mobility.
The handlebars also fold down, meaning it can be easily stored indoors, out of the way, or in the boot of your car.
One of my favourite features is the basket – who doesn’t love a basket? Attached to the frame above the rear wheel, there’s plenty of room to hold a large shopping bag, and I could easily see this being perfect for a quick trip for groceries.
The B9 also features a bright front and rear light, which I thought were neatly packaged and visible in both day and night. The rear light also acts as a brake light, which I thought was a great feature for safety reasons.
However I did have a couple of security concerns about the B9 that are definitely worth flagging to a potential rider. The first is I couldn’t find any obvious points to lock the B9 to a rack or suitable location; there is a gap in the frame just in front of the rear wheel, but I think this could make it difficult in certain situations to only have one usable lock-up space. Secondly the B9’s battery cannot be removed from under the footplate, meaning you’ll have to bring the scooter as close to the mains outlet as possible in order to charge.
Overall I think the big selling point about the B9, is that it avoids the stigma attached to your generic mobility scooters. I could see this being the product to help those with limited mobility to get out and about, but also get to places with ease, comfort and safety.
