There are so many electric scooters these days that it’s becoming hard to keep them straight, so let’s complicate things even more by throwing another one into the mix! It’s time to take a deep dive into the Kugoo Kirin G3 electric scooter and see how it stacks up against the rest of the market.

How far can it go?
The Kugoo Kirin G3 is rated with a maximum range of up to 40 miles (64 km), thanks to the large 52V and 18Ah lithium-ion battery housed in the deck.
The thing about that range, though, is that you’ll likely only see a true 40 miles if you’re riding much slower.
If you’re like me and hitting the top speed on every straightaway that can allow it, you’ll never see a true 40 miles of range.
But if you can average closer to 20 mph, you might actually get close to that 40 mile figure.
What about the components?
The scooter itself actually feels quite well made. You don’t get some of the nicer parts like hydraulic disc brakes, but the mechanical disc brakes still feel plenty punchy. They bite down hard and give good stopping power.
The full-suspension absolutely makes for a better ride, and I even had a blast going off-road with the scooter.
The screen on the Kugoo Kirin G3 is large and easily readable, though I’m not sure I like the idea of a touchscreen. There’s a reason that most electric scooters have physical buttons near the handlebar ends – it’s so you can easily access the inputs without taking your hands off the bars.
With the touchscreen, you have to basically let go of one bar end if you want to play with the controls in motion. It’s also hard to hit the button accurately when the scooter is bouncing around since there’s no physical button to feel for. You’re just stabbing at a moving screen, which feels like a serious miss to me.
Other than that, though, the main build quality and component choice decisions seem on point. I even like the bicycle bell included in the brake lever and the smattering of LED lights spread around the scooter to keep it visible at night.
Can it fold easily?
The folding mechanism is quite robust, which is critical in a fast electric scooter that will surely see some serious jarring around at high speeds.
There’s a massive bolt in the front end that is screwed through the stem, which also does double duty as a reflector. It’s there to lock the scooter in the upright, unfolded position. The only way for the scooter to fold on you while riding is to somehow break through a 1/4″ steel bolt – good luck with that.
The downside is that it takes much longer to fold this scooter than almost any other electric scooter I’ve tested, but if I had to choose between fast folding and secure folding, I’ll take the latter every time.
The only other odd thing about the folding is the way it locks in the down position. There’s an orange strap that loops around the rear kick plate. It works fine, but it doesn’t feel like the most elegant solution. It also means that the strap flaps around while you’re riding, as you can see in my video at the top of this article.
Maybe having a waving orange flag is a safety feature, not a bug. It’s all a matter of perspective!
Sum it all up for me!
All told, I’d say the Kugoo Kirin G3 is actually quite nice to ride. For its 1,099 price, it feels like a fair deal.
The scooter is fast, powerful, and comfortable to ride, even at high speeds.
It handles nicely and has a sturdy design. I even like the orange on black color scheme that continues right through to the orange flapping strap.
For a quick and powerful scooter, it gets the job done and looks pretty darn good while doing it.

Chapter 1 Basic information
This instruction is including the function, usage, and maintenance of the G3. Please prepare your purchase information before contacting customer service, because it is needed during the process.

1.1 Important informationYou must obey the law when riding your thee-scooter. Users have to take risks and responsibilities. It includes, but is not limited to muscle injuries, fractures, lacerations, serious injuries and death, and other risks that may be associated with the riding of a thee-scooter.Make sure to wear the protective sets(helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, ect.)
1.2 Safety warningSafely dispose of the package. It is dangerous for kids and pets.Checking the wholeness of the product, If any parts are missing, please contact the seller.If there is any damage, please don’t use it. 2.4 Display instructions
if there is no power please stop and turn off the power.
Chapter 3 Fold and assemble the scooter
Please ensure that the power of G3 has been turned off before assembling the scooter.Most of the parts have been assembled before leaving the factory. A few parts are required to be assembled before riding.
3.1 Handlebars assembly
- Following the shown image, adjust the direction of the handlebar faucet.Make sure the brake on the left side faces frontward, and the thumb accelerator on the right side faces backward.
- Align insert the mounting base in the faucet fixing seat.
- Adjust the direction and fix it with four screws.
3.2 Kickstand of E-scooter
- Insert the rear fender into the installation position where the left and right suspension arms are.
- Pay attention to the left and right direction, Only in the correct direction, the rear fender can be inserted normally.
- Just screw it tightly.
3.3 Kickstand of E-scooter
- Find the kickstand beside the pedal
- Push the kickstand down
3.4 Fold the scooter
- Loosen the folding set screw until the screw is out of the fold
- Put down the steering pole.
- Hang the locking ribbon to the bottom of the rear pedal
Chapter 4 Battery charge
Please charge the scooter before use.
4.1 How to charge
- Turn off the scooter before you start to charge.
- Find the charging pot and insert the charger into the socket.
- Use the right charger.
- The light will be red while charging.
- The light will be green when charging is completed.If it is the first charge, please charge the E-scooter at least 12 hours before using it.Under no circumstances should you use a scooter while charging.Do not charge for longer than necessary. The standard charging time is about 12 hours (18ah battery).Charging too long can affect battery life and performance.To extend battery life, charge it at least every two months.
Chapter 5 Usage
Before riding the G3, please read the following information.You have to wear a helmet and other protective clothing.Only under 100Kg are allowed.Obey the local law.The G3 contains the motor, which may be classified as a motor vehicle according to your local regulations. It is your responsibility to comply with local regulations.
5.1 Riding teachingSuppose you are wearing appropriate protective gear and have placed your scooter on a level road with sufficient power, follow these steps.
To turn off the scooter, please press the turn off button for 3 seconds after scooter stopped.
- Avoid passing through anything that may stick on or stuck in the wheels.
- Wear fat shoes for fexibility and stability.
- Keep practising until you can easily get on, forward, turn, stop and get off.
- Riding on the road with a 20 degree slope is OK for G3, but not recommended.
- G3 is preferred to relatively fat road conditions.
- Do not ride on slopes, pedestrians or obstacles until you are profcient with the scooter.
The G3’s weight is about 25 KGs. Remember to fold the scooter before you pick it up.
Chapter 6 Cleaning and maintenance
1 CleaningAfter long time riding, you need to clean it to ensure the G3 works well.Turn off the scooter before cleaning.Use dry cloth to scrub it.Avoid contacting from liquid.Donot use alcohol and detergent. Do not spray the liquid directly on any part of the scooter.
6.2 StoringTo store G3, please follow the below instructions:Please charge it before you store it.Charge it every 2 month.Cover G3 to prevent dust.Do not store it in a dusty or moisture environment, which may cause damage.
6.3 TransportClose and fold the scooter before moving, lifting, or transporting it (see section 3.4 for instructions).When lifting the whole scooter, please note the weight of G3 is about 25KGs.

Your G3 electric scooter is warranted to the original owner for one year from the date of purchased against defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service.This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights depending on local laws. Zdravím, koloběžku mám doma. Objednal jsem si ji přes geegbuying jak doporučujete. Ještě jsem se díval na banggood kde je hodně podobná cena, ale bez recenzí. Došla přesně za týden od objednávky z PL v perfektním stavu. Vše funguje jak má, vypadá úžasně a taky tak jede. Přešel jsem z Xiaomi Mi scooter Pro a ten skok je obrovský. Hlavně tlumiče a osvětlení a taky výkon. Moc pěkný je i displej. Je to ale monstrum, velká a těžká, oproti Xiaomi budí respekt:-) můžu doporučit, maximální spokojenost.
Ten clovek co pise nadpisy, necita aj recenzie, ktore robite? …Výrobca udáva maximálny dojazd na úrovni 60 km… V nadpise je viac ako 70km a reálne ani 40 km…naco tie zavadzajuce nadpisy?
Na stránke predajcu uvádzajú aj v obrázkoch teoretický dojazd 70 km. Samozrejme, že reálny je vždy nižší, záleží na štýle jazdy a váhe jazdca, ale to skúsený čitateľ ohľadne elektrokolobežiek určite vie. V našej recenzii uvádzame dojazd, ktorý sa nám podarilo otestovať, no toto nie je recenzia.
Zdravím. Mám konečne najazdených 500 km tak sa podelím o nejaké dojmy. Zatiaľ môžem kolobežku len a len chváliť. Neskutočne dobré pruženie. Síce z tejto cenovej/veľkostnej kategórie som ešte nemal. ale ak to porovnám zo všetkými ostatnými, ktoré som prestriedal ( všetky rôzne modeli Xiaomi, menšie modeli kugoo, nineboot atď. ) tak je to neporovnateľný rozdiel. Jazdím v Bratislave, takže jamy, výmole a hrbolce sú všade. Dokonca kolobežka zvládne solídne aj kamennú dlažbu a skoky z obrubníkov. Čo sa týka výdrže. ak jazdím naplno ( to znamená vždy na „bezpečné“ maximum na danom úseku, ale aspoň 70% času idem naplno 50 km/h ) tak dojazd je pri mojich 85 kg cca. 45 km. Konštrukcia je pevná, búchajú pri jazde maximálne káble. Brzdy by mohli byť silnejšie tie moje už začínajú „škrípať“. Za najhoršiu vec považujem nešťastné riešenie štartovania a vypínania kolobežky, gombík sa nachádza priamo na akcelerátore a veľmi často sa Mi stáva pri jazde, že sa len ( trochu ) obtriem o tento gombík a kolobežka sa „vypne“. Síce sa nevypne displej ani svetlá, ale motor prestane reagovať a musím úplne zastaviť. Zapnúť-vypnúť a pokračovať ďalej. Pár krát sa Mi to stalo v autobusovom/cyklistickom pruhu a bolo to dosť nebezpečné. Skladací mechanizmus je dosť netradičný, ale skrutka je veľmi dobré riešenie čo sa týka pevnosti konštrukcie a nízkej hlučnosti ( pri mnohých iných mechanizmoch som pravidelne počul drkotanie a cvakanie počas jazdy ). Samotné skladanie si vyžiada možno viac času ako tradičné páčky, ale nie je to nič strašné. Pneumatiky zvládajú aj jazdu po mokrej vozovke a ani raz som nedostal šmyk. Akcelerácia je príjemná, nie je to žiaden šprintér, zrýchľuje skôr lineárne takže sa nemusíte báť, že by vás kolobežka „zhodila“. Rozhodne neľutujem investíciu 945 eur. Za tú cenu sa dá možno zohnať po „papierovej“ stránke lepšia kolobežka, ale silne by som pochyboval o kvalite vyhotovenia a celkovej kvalite produktu.
kúpil som si predčasom Kugoo Kirin ES2 a bol to jeden z mojich najhorších nákupov. Na prvý pohľad všetko ok, ale po pár dňoch sa všetko začalo kývať, zadný blatník sa zlomil niekoľkokrát… vypínač sa zlomil… svetlo začalo po čase blikať… pokazila sa plynová páčka – neviem ako to nazvať…a.keďže sa už nevyrába, nedajú sa kúpiť náhradné diely. Nikdy viac….nikdy viac. Akúkoľvek inú značku. Kugoo kirin neodporúčam ani náhodou.
