What to Measure
Your “bike inseam”.- or inside leg length.- is the distance between your body where it sits on your bike saddle and the ground. This will typically be an inch or two longer than the length of your trousers, but you’ll want to measure to be sure. You’ll use this number on the chart to get a feel for how the different models will fit you.
How to Measure
Wearing your regular riding shoes and with your back to the wall, stand with your feet spread so there is about 7 inches between them. this is about the distance apart your feet would be when straddling a bike with your feet on
Place a hardcover book against the wall with the spine of the book facing upward. Slide the book upwards towards your groin until it is solidly against your body. This may be a bit awkward, but is way more comfortable.- and safer!- than trying to ride a bike that is too big.
If you have a buddy helping you, get them to measure from the floor to the top of the book spine while you hold the book in place. If you’re going it alone, carefully hold the book in place and measure from the ground to the top of the book spine.

Firstly, the XP Trike is sold without accessories, but it only costs 149 for the cargo package with front and rear baskets and a front rack, which support 110lb of cargo (3575).
The ride quality is slightly bumpy due to the small-diameter 20″ wheels, narrow 2.6″ tires, and rigid aluminum frame. However, these features keep the weight lower (69.5lb), resulting in a longer range (60 miles) than other electric tricycles for adults.
Lectric designed its tricycle with a dual differential wheel axle, so the wheels spin independently, improving stability while turning. However, unlike similar models, the XP Trike has a hub motor that drives both rear wheels and is the only model on this list with hydraulic disc brakes.
Don’t look past the XP Trike if you want a lightweight adult electric trike and you have a tight budget.
Buzz Cerana T

The Buzz Cerana T three-wheel electric bike is another cheap sub 2,000 option for those on a budget, like the XP Trike.
Unfortunately, this model lacks long-term reviews, but it has an impressive spec for the price, as it is the only mid-drive option on this list. The 350W mid-drive motor provides a superior ride quality that’s smoother and more capable of carrying heavy cargo.
Buzz sells the Cerana T with two baskets pre-installed. The rear rack supports just 40 lb of cargo and can fold down when not being used.
The small 374 Wh battery provides a limited range of 20-40 miles, but the 7-speed drivetrain gives you more options to pedal and extend the battery life compared to the single-speed RadTrike and XP Trike.
Another disappointing feature of this model is there is no backrest on the seat, nor an option to add one, which takes away from the comfort appeal.
All things considered, the Buzz Cerana T is a decent, light-duty choice for those with budget constraints.

This heavy-duty electric trike has a heavy yet shock-absorbent steel frame which helps make up for the relatively narrow 2.25″ tires; it weighs 82 lb without accessories.
Finally, the single-speed drivetrain reduces maintenance requirements but makes you more reliant on the motor and throttle. You can expect up to 55 miles of range from the RadTrike.
Choose the RadTrike if you want a high-quality, versatile electric tricycle for adults and don’t mind the higher price.

CANCELLATIONS REFUNDS:
If you need to cancel an order for any reason, please contact us at support@ElectricBikeZone.com as soon a possible.
- Order Cancellations: All order cancellations, including back-orders and pre-orders, will incur up to a 15% cancellation fee, based on the total amount of the order. Note that if the order has already shipped, there will be additional fees if the items need returned. (See our Damages Returns page for details on Returns.)
- Refusing A Shipment When It Arrives: All orders that are shipped and refused upon delivery will have a 30% restocking fee and an original shipping fee deducted from the refund.

- From time to time, a product may run out of stock and the website wasn’t updated when you placed your order. In that case, we will notify you immediately and give you three options:
- Get an immediate refund.
- Keep your order and wait for it to come back into stock.

- Once backorders arrive, we will notify you by email with your estimated ship date and you will receive an email with tracking information within 1-3 business days.
- The expected arrival time may change due to unforeseen circumstances like a shipment getting held up at the port upon arrival or the factory missing a certain part needed to complete the manufacturing process. RETURN POLICY
Our return policy matches the return policy of the manufacturer of each of our products.
Each manufacturer has a different timeline for returns. Some have a 30-day return policy, and others are as short as 7 days. Some don’t accept returns at all because they custom build each product that is shipped.

If you are unsatisfied with your order, email us at support@ElectricBikeZone.com to notify us that you want to return your product. We will respond to your email and will provide an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and the address to ship the product back to. You can take the product to your local UPS or FedEx store to ship it out. A t racking number must be provided to Electric Bike Zone when returning a product.
The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, including insurance (if selected), as well as a restocking fee. Up to a 30% restocking fee will be deducted from your return at the manufacturer’s discretion, based on the item purchased.
As soon as the return is processed and approved by our supplier, a refund will be issued to the credit card or account originally used for payment.
IMPORTANT: Some of our manufacturers don’t accept returns per their own policies. If the manufacturer does not accept returns for their products, then we cannot accept returns for those products, either. BRAND NEW CONDITION POLICY
All products returned must be in new, re-sellable condition, with no visible defects. All items must be shipped back in their original packaging.
SHIPPING DAMAGE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT POLICY
Our electric bikes are carefully packaged to prevent damage during the shipping process. However, occasionally there can be an issue, and shipping damage can occur with all shipping carriers.
- Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive.
- Please Note: If the item is damaged, you can sign for it as Damaged and we can then file a claim with FedEx/UPS right away on your behalf and have the item replaced. If there is damage but you sign for it as Not Damaged, then you will need to send information and photos showing the damage so that we can work to file a claim with FedEx/UPS. You can send photos to support@ElectricBikeZone.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.
- Electric Bike Zone does not pay or reimburse any labor costs undertaken by the customer under any circumstances.
If you believe that an item has arrived damaged or with a defect, contact us at support@ElectricBikeZone.com and send a picture and description of the damage and we will happily file a warranty claim with the manufacturer on your behalf. This must be done within 10 days of receiving your electric bike. We will not be able to ship you replacements if you send us photos after 10 days of receiving your electric bike. Replacement parts orders typically take between 1 to 3 weeks to fulfill.
- We do not issue refunds/returns because of defective batteries. The bike warranty will cover the battery, and a new battery can be shipped to you once we are provided with proof that the battery is defective. See the Defective Battery Policy below.
- We do not issue refunds/returns for minor cosmetic blemishes. The cost of returning an electric bike and shipping out a new one would be rather expensive. Instead, replacement parts and/or paint can be shipped to you to address any concern or problem.
DEFECTIVE BATTERY POLICY
Sometimes shipping carriers can damage the box during shipping. This can lead to the battery becoming damaged and not working. If you believe your battery to be faulty, you will need to provide us with proof.
To do this you can take your battery to a Batteries Plus store or use a voltmeter at home to test the battery and send us a picture of the reading on the voltmeter. Once you send us a photo of the reading showing the voltage is low, we can have a shipping label sent to you to return the battery. Once the defective battery is received, we will have a new battery shipped out to you as soon as possible.
