Indian Motorcycle designed the eFTR Hooligan 1.2 with inverted front forks, mid-height, moto-style handlebars, a unique LED headlight with an FTR-inspired wind deflector, and more aggressive tires. The eFTR Hooligan 1.2 also strips the front and rear fenders, relocates the battery for improved balance, and adds a gold chain to complete the bike’s authentic Indian Motorcycle design.

Indian Motorcycle Company has teamed up with an electric bike manufacturer to make this Indian-themed e-bike, as part of their electrification plans.
This is the second time that Indian Motorcycle has associated the FTR badge with an electric two-wheeler. The first time it did so, was in collaboration with Razor. Back then, the eFTR turned out to be a kids electric dirt bike. But the iconic and oldest motorcycling company has gone ahead and revived the badge again with Super73 this time with the eFTR Hooligan 1.2, which big enough for adults to ride.
Going by its initial images, the eFTR Hooligan 1.2 is largely based on the Super73s well-known S2 electric bike. However, Indian Motorcycles has done some considerable work on this bike. The Super73 bones are still there, however, modifications in the form of inverted front forks, mid-height, moto-style handlebars, and a unique LED headlight with FTR-inspired wind deflectors, and more aggressive tires.

The 960Wh battery is on the downtube, and it loses out on those rear fenders. Despite, visibly resembling the S2, this is without a doubt an Indian Motorcycle product. As for its performance specs, the Hooligan 1.2 is powered by an electric motor that can put out 2,000 watts of power. It rides on 20 fat bike wheels tires and can do a top speed of 20 mph (32 km/h) with full throttle. Theres also a pedal-assist system that allows you to do 28 mph (45 km/h) of top speed. This makes it legal in the United States to operate without a license.

The Indian eFTR Hooligan 1.2 electric bike’s official version mentions several high-end electric bike features, such as a lightweight aluminum frame, 20-inch spoked wheels, hydraulic disc brakes, and an inverted front fork.
The removable 960-watt battery on the bike provides more than 40 miles of range at 20 mph in throttle only mode (no pedaling) and more than 75 miles of range in ECO pedal assist mode. The most aggressive bike mode has a top speed of around 28 mph, and riders can choose between different riding modes via the SUPER73 mobile app to comply with local e-bike laws.
The bike, which has a 31-inch saddle height, also has a Super73 mobile app that allows riders to choose one of four riding modes:

These days, electric-assist bikes are literally everywhere, but few look as good as this one. This is the 1.2 version of the Indian eFTR Hooligan. It is the result of a collaboration between American motorcycle manufacturer Indian Motorcycle and electric bike manufacturer Super73. The Indian believes it can be used for “recreational sporting use as well as urban transportation.”
The placement of the battery allowed the padded seat to run the length of the frame. Indian outfitted the e-bike with motorcycle-style handlebars with an LCD display, and the single-speed drivetrain has a gold-colored chain.
The Special Edition weighs 73 pounds (33 kilograms), is wirelessly connected to a mobile app, and has front and rear LED lighting, with the headlight featuring an FTR-inspired wind deflector.
It rides on 20-inch wheels with 4.5-inch front and 5-inch rear Grizzly Tyres, and the fenders have been removed for an off-road look. a winding road. Sadly, the Indian Motorcycle Super73 eFTR Hooligan 1.2 is not available in India. The eFTR Hooligan has been unveiled by Indian Motorcycles and is priced at USD 4,000. (About Rs 3 lakh). The e-bike was created in collaboration with Super 73, an e-bike manufacturer based in California. The motorcycle license is not required.
The eFTR Hooligan 1.2 will be available at Indian Motorcycle dealerships and on the Indian Motorcycle website in the spring of 2022. Indian isn’t the only major motorcycle manufacturer to have recently entered the e-bike racing scene. The Yamaha YDX Torce Mountain bike and the new Ducati Futa Road bike are both Serial 1 bikes from Harley-Davidson. And, without a doubt, many more e-bikes will be introduced next year. However, only time will tell when these products will be available in the Indian market.
