The Ministry of Physical Development and the Environment officially handed over to the SLHTA on Wednesday 4^th August, 2010 at its offices its recently launched “Saving Energy Costs” energy efficiency manual.  The manual was developed as part of an EU-SFA-2006 Energy Program which had four main deliverables.

 

These deliverables are:

 

(1)    Drafting instructions for the review of the Electricity Supply Act pursuant to the recently endorsed
(by Cabinet Conclusion 529/2010)  National Energy Policy
(2)   A blueprint for an Electricity Regulatory Commission in Saint Lucia
(3)   Development of a Sustainable Energy Strategy
(4)   Short and Long Term Communication Strategy and Plan

 

This manual forms part of the fourth deliverable.
