From 26th August, 2009 the Saint Lucia Bureau of Standards, in conjunction with the Sustainable Development and Environment Unit of the Ministry of Physical Planning, Housing, Urban Renewal and the Environment, has been engaging stakeholders and the general public in the discussion on the draft national standard Guidelines for Recreational Water Quality. Through the SLHTA, the Saint Bureau of Standards and the Sustainable Development and Environment Unit extends an invitation to your company to attend a special consultation on the draft standard which has been convened specifically for our membership. The “Guidelines for Recreational Water Quality” consultation will be held on Wednesday 20th January, 2010 at the Palm Haven Hotel from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The SLHTA encourages our membership to attend this important consultation to provide feedback on the draft standard, its timeliness, relevance, applicability and achievability.
