SLHTA to host its annual Rhythm and Spice Festival as part of Homecoming 2010 11-Aug-10

The St. Lucia Hotel and Tourism Association (SLHTA) successfully staged its fourth annual Rhythm & Spice Festival on Sunday, 25th July 2010.  The Beausejour Cricket Ground came alive with a showcase of the best of Saint Lucia’s food, drinks, entertainment, educational opportunities and hospitality service offerings.  The event witnessed twenty-three (23) participating SLHTA members including hotels, restaurants, allied members, the Saint Lucia Tourist Board and three (3) educational institutions. The event stimulated much interest and collaboration among and between the SLHTA’s membership and the wider public.

The World Travel Awards (WTA) unveiled at ITB Berlin the nominations for its 2010 awards 14-May-10

Over 5,000 organizations spanning 162 countries have been nominated by industry peers for a chance to win the most coveted prize in travel and tourism. UK passenger tax being scrapped 14-May-10

Tourist’s Life Saved by pacemaker Implantation in Saint Lucia 14-May-10
